Careful Way Moving (referred to here as “Careful Way,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates as a moving company out of 47 S Meridian St, Suite 200, Indianapolis, IN 46204. The sections that follow describe what we gather through this website and while providing moving services across Indianapolis and Central Indiana, and what we do with it.
What We Gather and When
Some information you hand us directly — your name, phone number, and email when you request a quote, book a date, or contact the office, along with the origin and destination addresses, your preferred dates, and a description of what’s being moved. Other information is collected automatically as you browse, including your IP address, the browser and device you’re on, the pages you open, and the time you visit, by way of cookies and similar tools.
What It’s Used For
Your information lets us build and send estimates, schedule and run your move, keep in touch about the job, bill you and take payment, answer questions and handle any claims, and meet our legal and regulatory duties — including the ones tied to our US DOT and MC authority. It also helps us sharpen the website and the service. We’ll reach out about your move, and about future services only if you’ve asked us to.
When It Leaves Our Hands
We don’t sell your personal information, full stop. It reaches outside parties only when a provider needs it to do a job for us — think payment processors, scheduling and dispatch software, insurance carriers, and IT vendors — and never beyond what that work requires. Beyond that, we’ll disclose information when the law, a court order, or a government authority compels it, or where it’s needed to protect our rights, our customers, or our people.
