Loft and Apartment Moves in Indianapolis
An apartment move turns on the details a house move never deals with: the freight-elevator slot, the certificate of insurance the building wants in hand, the loading dock the office swears will be open at noon. Because we’re the company doing the actual carry, that scheduling and paperwork lands on us, not on you and not on some third-party crew we’d otherwise be pointing at.
How Move Day Unfolds
We nail down your elevator window and get the COI to your building ahead of time, then stage the load to fit whatever slot the property gives us. The crew pads and carries, guards the cab walls and thresholds, and reassembles your bed and furniture in the new unit. In winter we keep runners down through the lobby and entry so melting snow doesn’t leave the building’s floors slick or soak the bottoms of your boxes.
What We Line Up
- A COI emailed to your building manager before move day
- Freight-elevator or dock time arranged up front
- Stair-carry crews for walk-ups with no elevator at all
- Blanket-wrap plus padding for narrow halls and elevator cabs
- Furniture broken down to clear tight downtown doorways
A Few Things to Know
We can’t book an elevator without your building’s approved window, and we don’t absorb the fees a property charges for dock use or after-hours access. Loose, unboxed items fall outside the no-damage guarantee, so box them up or add packing and we’ll wrap them right.
Pricing
A studio or 1-bedroom runs from $365 flat-rate and a 2-bedroom from $575. Walk-ups and long elevator hauls eat time, so on a stair-heavy unit, hourly at $139/hr for two movers can be the fairer deal. We’ll tell you straight which way works out better.
Call (888) 711-4778 and we’ll get the COI and elevator squared away for your move.
