Indianapolis to Chicago — One Truck Up I-65, One Price
Pack the truck on the north side of Indy in the morning and you can be carrying boxes into a Chicago apartment by mid-afternoon. The corridor is a straight 181-mile pull up I-65 N, give or take three hours of pavement before the south-side congestion thickens around the city. Because the load rolls across the Indiana-Illinois line, the job runs on our own US DOT and MC authority, with $1M of cargo coverage riding along with your furniture.
What you sign is what you pay
We come out, walk the rooms, and put a binding flat-rate number on paper before anything moves. That number already has the Indiana Toll Road and Chicago Skyway folded in, so the figure you sign in Indianapolis is the figure we collect when the tailgate drops on the South Loop. No re-weigh, no curbside math, no “fuel adjustment” tacked on after the fact.
Your load, and only your load
Crew chief Cole Barnett heads up our long-distance runs and counts the inventory at both doors. He drives a dedicated truck reserved for your move alone — your sofa never shares a trailer with a stranger’s boxes, and nothing detours through a warehouse to wait on a partial load. Every piece gets pad-wrapped and logged before it leaves the house, and dispatch watches the truck by GPS the entire way north so the arrival window we quote is the real one.
The Chicago piece
High-rises and downtown condos are the wrinkle on this route, not the highway. We reserve the freight elevator and send the building your certificate of insurance ahead of move day, so the crew is unloading instead of arguing with a doorman. The whole job carries our written no-damage guarantee.
Pick your week
December through February, lake-effect snow blowing off Lake Michigan can stack up on the north leg, so we pad the winter delivery window a little. Summer and early fall move the cleanest. Weekend dates book out first — lock yours in as soon as you have one.
