Relocating a Full Central Indiana Household
Scale up an apartment move and you still don’t get a house move. A house has more rooms, more flights of stairs, a basement nobody’s emptied in years, and a long list of fragile things that genuinely matter. We’re a licensed Indianapolis moving company running our own crew and our own trucks, which means the hands that wrap your grandmother’s china are the same hands that set it down in the new kitchen.
How Move Day Unfolds
Your crew chief walks both homes first and lays out the plan, then the crew pads and loads starting from the farthest room and working back toward the door. At the new place that order reverses: beds go back together, boxes land in the rooms your labels call for, and nothing gets dumped in one cardboard wall by the entry. On a winter move we shovel and salt the walks, then stage the truck tight to the door so your belongings spend as little time in the cold as possible.
What the Move Covers
- Wrap, load, drive and unload, handled room by room
- Blanket-wrap on furniture, mirrors, artwork and TVs
- Beds and large furniture taken apart and rebuilt
- Floor runners and door padding laid in both homes
- Boxes and furniture placed in the rooms you mark
What It Doesn’t Cover
A standard residential job doesn’t include a full pack-out of your boxes unless you add packing, and we don’t cut into gas lines or hardwired fixtures. We’ll spot the washer and dryer where they go, but leave the final water and gas connections to a licensed tech.
Pricing
Flat-rate residential starts at $575 for a 2-bedroom and $845 for a 3-bedroom, with bigger homes quoted after a quick walkthrough. Rather run the clock than lock one number? Hourly opens at $139/hr for two movers with a 2-hour minimum.
