Tony Reyes leads our specialty crew, and we move these with proper boards, straps and pads, not four guys and a lot of optimism. We do the lift ourselves, so there’s no unfamiliar crew on your staircase wondering how to take the next turn.
How a Piano Move Runs
First we measure the doorways, the halls and every stair, then we pad the route end to end before we so much as tip the instrument. An upright rides upright, strapped to the skid. A grand comes apart at the legs, gets wrapped and boarded, and travels secured flat. When the walk is iced over, we salt and squeegee the path and the ramp before the piano leaves the house, because a slip with that kind of weight is precisely the thing the whole plan exists to prevent.

What We Don’t Do
We move and protect the instrument; we don’t tune it, and we’d suggest scheduling a tuning a couple of weeks after it settles into the new room. We also don’t open it up for internal repairs or swap worn casters. If yours is already cracked or loose somewhere, tell us up front and we’ll plan the move around it.
Pricing
Uprights and consoles run $250 to $425, a baby grand $375 to $575, and a full grand $525 to $950, with stairs and long carries landing on the higher end. We pin down the exact number once we know the type and the path it has to travel.
